well, i really want a SN95 body cobra. i thought about trying to modify the CV to give me the same numbers as a cobra, but that's just going to cost too much. so i've decided to sell my car & my jeep to get what i want.

i just recently purchased the car from a used car dealer in VA. clean car with some clear coat cracking/fading in a couple places. it had some things on it when i bought it like, MM corners, MM rear fascia with tinted reverse lights, MM/OEM style trunk spoiler, K&N intake, and flowmaster mufflers with MM tips. only modification i did was replace the pitman arm (bushings were bad) and put some junkyard P71 shocks on the front (front was really bouncy & i wanted to isolate the problem without spending a lot of money).

interior is clean with a small cut on the driver's seat back. interior is all stock with the exception of the MM cluster swap. the windows are tinted with a light tint that was on there when i bought it. the rear window could use a retint as the tint is starting to bubble. will have an aftermarket CD player in the dash.

it has 255/50/17 Kumho tires on it with plenty of tread left. should have no problems passing any kind of inspection (maybe tint depending on location) as i have put less than 1,000 miles on the car since i bought it (actually 969 miles as of right now).

only exterior mods i have done was painted the tail lights all red (get rid of the amber turn signals) and blacked out the chrome trim using gDMJoe's mod with the vinyl (so if you want chrome back, you can just peel off the vinyl).

i am looking for $6500 obo. im flexible, but im not going to lose too much on the car. if that's the case, ill just keep it and drive it.

i can take more pics if needed. PM me with any questions, or if anyone would like info on my jeep. thanks.

Why is the front of the hood jacked up on the driver's side??

Sharp looking car!!

Good Luck with the sale!!:D

Marauderjack:burnout:

yeah, the hood is open. i was finishing up the tach adapter wiring. had to take a fast pic (wanted one next to my truck) since the truck was parked where my g/f parks. put the hood down to take the pic & then moved the truck.

the price is "OBO", but im wont entertain any offers like $3000. if those are the only offers i get, i figure ill just keep it & drive it. and try to find a mustang when money isnt so tight.

here are some other pics of the hood
this is when i picked it up from the dealer in the beginning of oct '08

this is the most current pic i have when the hood is closed. but i was taking a pic of the corner light. you can see how the hood sits down

How can you tell from low resolution pictures whether it was painted or not? There is so much pixel tear going on I wouldn't be able to see what you'd need to see to know...

i only had the car for a month. dealer never advised of any problems. paint looks ok to me. it's a 2001 & not perfect, but ok. there is some clearcoat fading in some spots, but nothing like rust or anything like that. definitely not show/professionally detailed. actually that pic was taken 2 days after i washed it. it was cleaned when i bought it. then i washed it once since i have had it.

mileage is correct. odometer assembly was also swapped with the MM cluster install. actually you have to swap the whole thing or else the speedometer jumps from 0 to 20 mph. this way everything still works as it should.

real sharp looking car dude would look alot better with a honey comb grill IMHO i think the price is a bit steep though i just bout a 2006 med titanum P71 with 75,000 miles for $5000.00 cad and this car is super clean inside and out

thanks guys for the compliments.
and again, let me state....this isnt a show car, it's definitely not a MM. but it's a nice CV LX Sport with some minor upgrades.

im definitely open to offers, but i didnt want to entertain any super low lowball offers.

I hear you...believe me i do.

Recently i had to let go of my 02' Merc LSE for $4500 with only 65k on it. It was such a great car, and it killed me to let it go so cheap.

I do have the cash available, but im saving up for the right Marauder. Its difficult for me NOT to "BUY IT NOW!"

Sorry i led everyone off topic, but lets keep it on topic guys!!

I love the car man! Good luck on the sale! Sports are hard to find & yours already has the nice MM mods done to her. It will just take the right buyer as with any car. :)

You really can't compare a P71 to a Sport. Sports have all the power options, center console with floor shifter, better interior, same RAR, & 17" rims. There are sooooo many P71's out there to pick from that everyone is always getting a better deal then the next guy. Mileage doesn't mean squat on a P71 either.
