I was contacted by a guy in N Carolina who say my ads to buy.

2500 miles... Yes, I asked him say to it out loud, "a two thousand five hundred mile car," that he offered to sell to me.

Claims it is totally stock. Showroom.

He wants $20,000 firm.

I talked with him for a half hour, and i had just put down money on another car (I'll post it up when the deal is done, don't want to jinx it), or i would have been on it. He bought two new, one silver and one black... He put 100k plus on the Silver... Kept the black in garage all it's life.

He asked to post as he is not a computer guy.


PS I don't know much more... But after all many of you have done for me, I couldn't NOT post this.

Lots of us have the cash, I would question why he doesn't want to post himself. I would also need a VIN before I committed 20k.

20K for a Marauder with miles that low is a steal!

I don't know from where, but the accent is thick (sounds more New Orleans)...

I did tell him that it had value. And I am sure he'd share the vin.

I figured this was one for ya'll big rollers... And yes, the goldfish jumped the tank in the comments above, and is now flopping on the carpet.

Uhhh, maybe he has a lot of cars, ask Marty O how many miles he puts on his stable full of cars a month.

The joy was apparently owning the car. Show me a car that is worth more, 10 years after it was purchased. There are a few, but very few.

Maybe he bought it for 22-25k when dealers were trying to unload them, in that case, he plans on losing 5k over 10 years.

I dare say that Marty will profit from every car he has when he decides to sell it!! Unfair comparison!!:shake:

I buy cars to drive the wheels off of 'em and no matter what they are POOR financial investments.......there is more to the satisfaction of blasting around.....I'm sure you can understand that!!:cool:

Unless he ran his 25 miles a month down the strip I doubt he had too much fun!!:bandit:

I have had some dealings with that Marty guy, I don't think he always comes out on top. TWSS

I enjoy driving mine, but trailering it to Mexico all the time gets old. Dom will understand that.
 
Did someone say the guy had a New Orleans accent??????? What is that, them is fighting words. We don't have accents you guys do.
Now the price of my 2501 mile Black just went up. Unless you want it Darren. Then price drop for an old used Marauder.
