Good lord why don't you already own this car?

Paint may suck, may not. Mine had problems, but at 114K I still didn't have any bubbling or rust points, just clear-coat haze, and my car was in direct sun 24/7. Trans problems? You're talking about a 4R70W here, switch off O/D when you know you're gonna run the car hard and never think twice.

And 12,800 for a MM with like 49K? Dude I paid around 13,900 for one with 57K that was missing a bunch of factory parts (exhaust tips, floor mats, center caps), and THAT was a steal at the time. Unless there is a mechanical problem you find that he hasn't told you about, BUY THIS CAR.
 
After watching your posts over the last months, :popcorn: I'm beginning to think that you might be developing a "love affair with looking". I bought mine two years ago. I looked around online for about two weeks, drove about 600 miles on some trips looking at different MMs within a days drive from my home. Ironically, I found one at a used car lot in my home town with no documentation, and 59,000 miles.

Sure it had "some" problems, same tire size on all four wheels, rock chips all over the hood, But, I had wanted one of these cars since they first came out. After getting an Oasis report, and paying for a CarFax (had a few problems on that, accident rear, was backed into at a shopping mall parking lot, minor scratches and a scrap on the rear bumper cover.

Bought it and never looked back. first, all new correct sized tires, second, changed all fluids and filters. I buffed out scratches, and Dr. Chip paint repair brought the hood up to an acceptable level.

Here it is two years later, and 15,500 miles, I have thoroughly enjoyed the last two years of driving the MM on a daily basis. Sure a few problems, LCM, and a bad coil.

Time to take the plunge, friend, this one your talking about here is about the best you'll get...just my :twocents:............:D
 
Thanks guys for the helP you guys have been great . I have a few really bad days my grandma was very went to the er and i rushed there from work to be by her side :( left last night she did not make it to the morning ... Rip grandma you were the one that was always there for me .


Update on the car guys super mad I backed out but I had to pay for a few things for the casket and stone because my grandfather is very sick as well 4000- out of the bank . Sorry guys really wanted a new ride thinking it's best to get the crown victoria I have fixed now
 
^^There will always be others available, and if the seller is still upset after hearing your reason for not buying, then he's just an ass. Sorry for your loss, and hope you can realize your ambition to own the MM further down the road.
 
updated again the guys calling me every few hr's lowering the price started at 13.8 now said he would take 12K tonight only what to do . he owns his own shop you guys have seen the pic of the car should try to come up with it?
