I have the same girdle. I'd recommend AMSOIL 75-110 for fills. Gear oil changes are very easy with this unit.

I'd put a coating of light oil over the rear axle to help keep the rust at bay.

Are there any updates on this car. Picts and dyno numbers?

Yes Chris, it is coming along fine I will try and post some today, Steve got married Saturday, and is off for a week so it is just me doing every thing answering the phone dyno'ing cars and work in the middle, but I am never bored.

Inner cooler install

Well I have installed the IC and the air box, I am waiting on the pipes to come back from the powder coater.

Question. When you say fly-by-wire does that mean no hydraulics and moving wire cables? Everything replaced with FODT bus and/or electrical cables connected to actuator/solenoids? I know the F430 paddle shifters are like that, I just didn't know that this technology had trickled down to the common folk. Regardless you are building one nice machine Dennis. Thanks for a peek.

Looks awsome pretty much what i garndered when doing my my 06 i would be interested to know what the final dyno numbers are RWHP cheers gordo

Very Neat!

Well I have been working on this all week with Steve and Tracie from Speed Fab he fabricates my pipes. What I have now been able to do is use the Marauder pipes on a CV with addition of this separate pipe as shown below, now when the car got here the ABS light was on and traction Control, because the tires were not the same size I was able to fix that I drove the car back from getting the last pipe made, today and the car really feels good with a base file in it, you would never know it is a fly by wire car. I used a 3.5" tube made for a slotted maf, so my choice was a the HPX maf this required no maf extender or wiring adapter I also set it up as a suck through, now I am going to shorten the pipe going to the TB so I have more clearance from the URH, the blue collars will be replaced with black the two pipes will be powder coated silver, so over all I am very pleased with the progress of this project, we took in a 04 Marauder with only 10K on the clock and this will get a Novi 1200 what a nice Christmas present. We are having a dyno day and car show Saturday, we are raising funds for SEMARK Ranch a institute for abused children, will have burgers hot dogs raffles, any one in the area can come on by.
