Rich, Charlie and I are leaving from my house in Lutherville around 0000 hours Wednesday. We are taking I-70 most of the way and then heading NW through western PA, OH and then on into MI. We could either meet at my house or somewhere along the way. Let me know. Talk to you soon.

Yeah, That'd be great! I'd still need a place to sleep on Wed night.... head to toe?:P :P :P I have to leave early Thursday morn.
Give me some details about your route. I was thinking of getting out from my place around 9pm Tuesday.

Ok, let's start planning this.:2thumbs:
I'm PM'ing my home and cell numbers to you and Charlie.
I was planning on hitting the PA turnpike, then 70.

Quick Question, why the fuel pump upgrade? is it needed for a basic stock Maurauder with minimum modifications? When should you consider upgrading?

Did you see his horespower numbers?
The boost-a-pump can only take you so far.

Just for the dyno day, it looks like.

I have to be home on Thursday and I really want Lido to tune my car. (Hope he got me PM or email)
So, I'll be hooking uo with Charlie and Bob EARLY Wednsday morning along the PA turnpike, showing up at Lido's with them, then heading home early Thursday morning.... I just need to figure out a place to crash in between!

So, I guess the answer to your question is.... sortof?:D

We'd better get them some quad shot espresso's, and toothpicks for the eyelids!!

I plan on drinking about 4 gallons of Diet Mountain Dew during the trip. Our time may be hampered by the frequent bathroom stops...:D

Pace yourself.

Rule #1: "We don't stop until the "Low Fuel" light comes on!

Hmmmmm 14 mpg x 15 gallons means we will be stopping every 210 miles...
Actually, I got almost 22mpg hwy on the turnpike last week. 68mph on cruise.
14 is my "playtime" mileage it seems.:burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

Rich,

you should be able to manage 18-19mpg at near triple digits..... you might want to get Bob a 'little johnny' for the trip!!!

Hey Bob,

bring us some of that tasty beer you keep telling us about. And some crab cakes too...it'll be a Smokey and the Bandit in reverse. Defyant should run blocker for y'all.

Yours truly,

B.E. Burdett

Dayam, that sounds like a blast with Lidio. Sure wish I was closer that 2600 miles. You guys be careful, have fun and get back safe and sound. Dennis:beer:

Hell of a good point, but I have responsibilities. I can't just go running off the Woodward everytime a great time is happening.

Rich, you might have to bump up that 68 a little when you get with Charlie and me. We've been known to "push it" a little on some of our cruises.:D
Make sure Charlie brings his badge..... just in case.

Mark, it looks like I may have to take a few hours off of work Tuesday to gather up all of the yummy stuff you mention. The company that makes the crab cakes you see on QVC is about 300 yards from my plant. Crab cakes taken care of, you just have to figure out a way to broil them. As for the beer, I think I can transport about 4 or 5 growlers in my cooler. Or I could go to Dick's sporting goods and pick up one of those 500 qt. coolers and throw in a keg....

The beer will be more than enough!! but if you bring them, we can broil the crab cakes on Charlie's hot cats :)

Oh yeah another thing, make sure Rich stays up with the convoy, his floormat tends to bunch up under the accelerator :)
