AC ISSUES

Hi guys need,
I ned a little help i recently replaced the ac resister and fan motor and noticed AC went away under acceleration (switched to defrost), I rebuilt the AC controller with new o-rings and still doing the same thing, I swapped out the AC controller with a working one and still doing the same thing, I looked under the hood and there are no loose or broken vacuum lines. Any suggestions?

Thanks

On the left inner fender you will see a black box, that is vacuum storage for stuff like the a/c. I don't know where it is in the system but there will be a back check valve. That box and a working back check would keep the vacuum to the a/c when you are hard on the gas.

thanks brother, will check that that out tomorrow.

The black box is a vacuum reservoir. A vacuum line runs from the box to a vacuum manifold on the firewall. The top fitting on the manifold is the check valve. Its white and black. There are 2 vacuum lines on the white part. To give you an idea of it's location, the yellow thing is the transmission dipstick handle.
