Saturday, a woman driving a U-Haul blew through a stop light and totaled my pristine '03MM. I had only reached 70,000 miles a few weeks ago. The insurance adjuster said he'd never seen a 15 year old car in such great shape. It's a sad day.
 
O so sorry to hear that.

I had to drive mine today, and it dumped rain. I was hoping no one would slip/slide into me or me into them. I don’t want to be in your shoes.
 
I hope you had collector insurance on the MM. Standard insurance will give you nothing.
I have Hagerty on my 04 Silver Birch. It stays in a garage when not going to a car event, and only special car events. A great car is like a fine wine.. an investment.

Just regular Geico insurance. Got $9K for it.
 
The car is oin its way to the scrap yard but before it left I was able to snag a few items that I'll be posting for sale in the next day or two, including:

• full set of used OEM car mats

• Front and rear customized godshead badges (comes with a godshead emblem for the steering wheel!)

• Carbon fiber CAI with a huge (11" length) K&N-type filter (complete with a stainless steel cover with godshead and "MARAUDER" professionally laser engraved)

• Owners manual and original inserts contained in a handy zip-up leatherette holder

• Original, never used, car jack in the original felt carrier

But on a serious note I am sorry about your car and hope no one was hurt.
