Another wrecked MM

Here's another......

I found this on a salvage auction website:

$1800 is not a bad price for the engine assembly. I would have jumped on that a month ago. Anyone want to split it? I 'll take the top half. :)

Wonder if the SS inserts are salvegable...

Makes you wonder if they were a member here...looks like a rough rear-end collision for sure.

In both instances I think it goes to show alot of these cars safety factors, they both look like very hard hits.

Not to hijack my own thread, but in the first link, one of the pics is the cars ID tag...

Can someone explain to me why there is a "9" after the front tire size, and a "10" after the rear tire size? What does those number refer to? I know it doesn't refer to rim width, as that's clearly stated in the next line...just curious what 9 and 10 mean.

 God that looks so painful. Hope no one was in the back seat and yep the value just went up.
Look at the roofline ..... Looks like a high speed spin out and he went backwards into a tree, pole, or abutment. Whatever ... it was a real hard hit to put that immovable object into the rear seat area.

From the sticker in Breadfan's post ... it looks like an early 300A from July 2002. Ouch !!! :(

Whatever happened to it, someone should forward those pics to the national media and ask 'em why it didn't burst into flames :shake:

It has heated seats if you look at the door panel so this may be one of those 300a/300b crossovers

The pics in the thread are not the pics from the link in my first post.

The first post car is a 300A, don't get any good interior pics.

If you check the parts list though it has the wheel for the full size spare, which although not polished they're still selling for $350

This yard is tough...I got a really nice low mileage 3G alternator for $35 from a late model stang. When I asked for one of the wires to it that I needed (the small green wire) for my 3g upgrade on my Fox, the guy said sure $75. Guess they wanted to sell the whole harness??

Anyway...I stopped by a local yard on the way home, found the wire on an old Ranger, and they gave it to me for free.
