Any fans of the buick roadmaster?

The difference between My Marauder and Fleetwood in MPG isn't that far off. The MM does get better gas mileage for sure, but the big Fleet I thought got impressive MPG for what it was. Better than my wife's little Neon at the time. The WOT experience I equate to an jet during take-off. You get pushed back in you seat, not to where you can't move, but enuff to make it fun. My Dad was always impressed at how, "...this thing gets up and moves...". Love em all...

Hmm, my Impala gets 24-26 @ 70MPH...my MM won't even come close...but I did not buy it for mileage.

I do 60 miles a day, even feathering the gas the Fleet would need gas before the end of the week. I figured the Rauder would be about the same so it didn't matter. But the first week I drove all week and had enuff gas to get me thru the Saturday run around. She does great, but again, no complaints. These are FULL size cars, I never expect high MPG. But to get 20-23(with the way I drive) city/highway driving, you won't here any complaints come outt ma mouff...plus she's bone stock too.

Actually, I think that the LT1's highway mileage is better than the Marauder's. I've seen 23-24 out of my Marauder, but an LT1 in good tune is 25 or so. Not a big difference, but the lower (numerical) rear end in the GM helps that. Also, the LT1 will run fine on 87.
