Is any one got any for thier marauder this winter?
I'm doing another built motor to handle more power. The first engine I had built was made for an Eaton swap. The car has a 3.4 crush whipple mated with a 6r80. It's a low compression motor with some comp cams. New one will be a high compression engine with some custom cams from todd warren. Goal is 800hp to the wheels. Car already made 620hp to the wheels.

*edit - I just realized you said "cool" stuff not routine maintenance. I'll see myself out.

What did you do to the wiper cowl to fit a crusher intake?

I am doing a complete redo of one of my racecars . This is the one with the 5.3 4 valve motor. The complete race motor and supercharger will be for sale soon. Last week on the dyno it made 880 RWHP.

Marauder is in storage, but also have a 2003 Town Car which I'm in the process of installing Stainless Works headers and full exhaust. Taking my time with it over the winter and doing a little bit each weekend.

I been working on my 03 marauder for a long time now but I finally progressed far enough that it was time to start on the engine so that’s been a really cool experience. Found a problem yesterday with cylinders 2 and 3. .007” taper on both at top of bore. Probably explains why those were the 2 lowest when I did compression check. Only thing I’m wondering is should I bolt heads back on and remeasure from the bottom side now just to be sure?

That's shouldn't be to had...….my stroked 5.1 with Crower Cams and 10.25compression with a trilogy made 683 whp.

Looking to add ride-tech coil overs soon, kyb's gas-a-just are kind of harsh with metco suspension upgrades.

New shortblock should be here this month and went with a higher compression 10.5 setup. New heads from MHS in FL with their best turbo cams and are ready to bolt on. Moving the the radiator from the front to under the trunk. Also switching to a new Holley Dominator setup with the 12" dash. Finally, adding a CO2 system for the modified air shifter, the chute lever, and the new mac valves on the wastegates. Oh, and will be having electric cutouts put on the bumper exit exhaust so I can switch to full 3" to the rear when driving on the street.

Just a few things....

Nice John. I am still rocking your stainless works headers. You going to come up for street machine national in July?
