At roughly 15-25 mph if i let off the gas and then get back to it lightly, i'm hearing a, what i would say, metal on metal type sound. It's not real loud but enough to make me wonder what it is and if it's a bad thing. If any of you guys can understand what i mean or have heard the sound in your car please help. it almost sounds like it's coming from the middle of the car, if that helps. It also makes a similar noise when braking for a stop sign at low speeds, could it be the pads shifting, or hopefully not, a worse case scenario. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
I get that sound a lot on my 1990 Buick POS, and I think its a very bad sound. Id go take it in for a checkup.

yes, mine does it too. Dealer said they couldn't hear it and couldn't find it. Will take him for a ride tomorrow. Exactly, after letting off of the gas at low speeds, metal rubbing on metal sound, even does it for a sec after the car comes to a stop.
 
yep that sounds like the noise, mine goes in tuesday if you go first give me a heads up so i can tell my dealership exactly what to look for. Hopefully it's not too major:(
 
Hmm... Possibly a loose heat shield? I know as cars get older, then tend to rattle upon decel and stop, but it's possible yours wasn't shot down all the way.
 
All I know is --sounds like a bad dream of me taking mine out for it's first drive after being put back together--OH thats a BAD Dream SOUND alright--but really--after getting her back I will treat her gently awhile to hear "those Sounds"...and then..and then....and then.......let me hear it guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What's gonna happen............zooooooooooom...and away we gooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! Yea Hawl!!!!!!!!!
