Battery Cable Connection

The battery cable end on the positive post has seen better days. I'm intending on replacing it. The Ford place says they have discontinued the cable ends and I would have to replace the whole harness. They showed me the new cable end that they are using. With this new piece, I'd have to find nuts for the post and add something to connect the cables to the new part. Has anyone had to replace their cable ends? 20240717_205820.jpg20240717_205808.jpg

Maybe try finding a place that has FLM NOS? I remember finding several vendors online years ago when I was looking for NOS for my Marauder...or give mustangeddie a holler and see if he can help you out.

iirc the crown Vic battery cable is same just that the clips to hold cable are in different spots which I think can be moved

Do anyone know where I can find the marauder head emblems that i can replace the mercury emblems on the front grille and the trunk it would be greatly appreciated

The battery light has come back on. I tried an OBD reader, but it's just giving me a zero. I'm assuming the reader isn't really compatible with the Marauder. Any suggestions?

have you put a multimeter on the alternator to make sure its actually charging?

I replaced the alternator and a new battery. Meter said 12.80 at the battery before cranking. After cranking it went up to about 14.96.

My average voltage while driving seems to be about 13.5 or 13.6. At WOT it goes down into the upper 10’s lower 11s. The headlights and heater also draws voltage.
Do you think I should replace the alternator? New battery as of yesterday.
