brake replacement time?

Hey guys...

I've noticed a few times that when I brake hard, my brake light comes on. The brakes have always been a little soft to me (bought used). I'm now hitting 50k.

I haven't had a chance to check brake fluid yet, but I probably will do an inspection tomorrow morning.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Check the brake pads as well as the fluid!

The fluid maybe low to compensate for the extra travel of worn brake pads. My brake light has come on a couple of time when my pads are worn down/out.

I had that happen to mine when my right rear inner pad was paper thin. The others were 1/2 to 2/3s worn.
 
Brakes

If you are thinking of replacement, try the EBC brakes that Dennis sells. I have 130K on my car, and the new brakes are SOOOOO nice!
