CARLISLE 2019 ~ Hotel Block Ready to Book Now

What a blast from the past, Charlie! I'm sweating just looking at those pics and remembering how hot it was. I've named everyone I recognize: Blackened300a, Krytin (Paul), N40GL (Mark), Ken, TSPA (Tom), SMOKE (Jonathan)and sister, SilverSurfer,( Brian), Mr. Man, O'sFan Rich and the GF (Denise?). I seem to remember that NATEHAWK was also there? He let me park next to him even though my car was not at all clean.:o I'm blanking on the names of the people in the other pics.

I enjoyed the 2008 photos, I don’t think I would have enjoyed the high temp without the breeze on Marauder Mountain! It’s great to see early interest in rooms. I hope that we can fill the 10-room block early so we would have enough time to grab more rooms from the hotel to add to our block! I think we only need three more early birds.

Yup, Jim, Marauder Mountain gives us better temps/breezes... and views! Re the 3 remaining rooms: If we can get them reserved soon enough, I was told the hotel will add additional rooms for us. The key will be how soon this can happen since June is a very busy time at the Central Hotel what with weddings, friar conventions and the ever delightful baby beauty contest. :D I swear those trophies were twice the height of those little girls.:eek:

Any chance we can get another three early birds to book?

Hey guys, just bumping in hopes 3 more of you might be looking to book a room for Carlisle All Fords 2019 and pick up the last 3 rooms remaining in our 10 room group block.

I'd like to be able to add more rooms but unlike years past the hotel will not set any more rooms aside for Marauders at Carlisle until/unless we are able to fill the current block. Our room reservations have dwindled over the past couple years and I had to persuade the hotel to give me even a small group block for next year. Time is of the essence to add any more to our block because the hotel typically fills up well ahead of time for June. Remember, you can cancel your reservation if your plans change so see post 1 for all the details. It's super easy. Hope to see you next June!

Carlisle All Ford National is held the first weekend in June so it will be Friday through Sunday May 31-June 2, 2019. The 24th annual Hot Rod Power Tour was held June 9-15 this year, 2018. A quick check for dates in 2019 gave me nothing so not sure. Maybe someone can chime in to tell us.

Would you consider driving out to Carlisle? The Power Tour is awesome, of course, but Carlisle is pretty awesome, too.:cool:
 
Carlisle 2019

Bumping...there are 2 or 3 rooms left in our group block for Carlisle All Ford National next June and once these are gone I doubt I can add any more. The Central Hotel is a really nice full service property with a pool, restaurant/pub and large parking lot. I've done my research and there are virtually no other hotels in the area that offer as much at this price. Last year several members missed out on the group block....

I just booked the show field for my car today with Carlisle Events.
I now have both a room and a spot on the mountain. What is next?
