Okay, all our Marauder PEOPLES, time to register for the Carlisle Ford Event 2024!!!!!
Jack and I are registered -- come on, gotta keep it going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
May 31-June 2, 2024. Finally looked up the dates and was surprised to find it starts in May this year. :eek: I almost agreed to work that Friday! We are keeping the dates front of mind and I put them in my calendar. Where is everyone staying? We might do a Hampton Inn in the area (but probably not Carlisle...too much traffic congestion). Really hope a lot of our fellow Marauderers will be there, too!
 
Let us know if there's a group at the Hampton, so at least we have someone with whom to eat breakfast! (And, which Hampton? There are a couple as I recall.)

Hey Mark, John, John and Connie and anyone else coming to Carlisle, just in case you plan to get a hotel room, some places are already booked up, like the Hampton in Carlisle. Mr. Man and I grabbed a room at the Hampton Inn and Suites North Harrisburg just now. It's on Capitol Dr. right off 81. Not a bad drive from there to the show field.
So Mark, if you and Michele get right on it you will have at least 2 peeps + Rosey with whom to eat breakfast....:D Who knows, maybe even a few more, but probably can't wait too long to get a room.
 
We've booked it - arriving May 30 and depart June 2.

We want to ship the Marauder out and then meet it there (mostly to save on my annual leave, of which I don't have a lot) and drive it back to Sioux Falls.

Scheduling the shipping ain't a problem, but I'm trying to find a place for it to arrive (our one-way flight to Harrisburg is booked, arriving around noon on the 30th). Anyone have any ideas? Like maybe the Ford store in Harrisburg? I did email the Carlisle events people in case they already have a plan in place, and will report back. But I could use help.

I got all the tickets and showfield parking as well.

What about the rest of you all (that I haven't seen since 2014)???

Hey, Mark, this is great that you will get to Carlisle. Like Paula said, we are booked at the Hampton Inn, Harrisburg North, Capital Dr. But don't wait much longer to book, I just booked yesterday; so many other hotels are sold out.
Don't know what to tell you about a delivery place for your car. Hope Carlisle can give some assistance......

Fully booked for this year. I'll be staying at an AirBNB in walking distance of the downtown area.

Need help determining how picky they are. I can swap back to my stock grille instead of my emblem less grille to eliminate one modification.
However that still leaves 4. I cannot/will not take off the window tint so that is ONE. My bumper cover has the stainless MARAUDER insert so that would be TWO. I have tinted rear taillights which I could switch back to stock but prefer not to so that would be THREE. On the inside I have a Gods head emblem over the waterfall. I have two 100 years emblem on the back of the seats. Under the hood I replaced the plain coil pack cover on the passenger side with a driver side cover. I have a small 100 year emblem on the intake manifold. I have signatures on some items under the hood. I have a liner on underside of the trunk which is normally plain steel. Otherwise it is stock in appearance. Do I enter it as stock of modified?

There's normally no formal judging at Carlisle. Awards are determined by popular vote. Someone might challenge your entry in a class with the organizers, and if the organizers agree, your car can be re-classified. If you're on the fence about the number of modifications made to your car, you're probably safer in the modified class.
 
It's technically 3 or more mods put you in modified. Realistically we look at it as NA vs Supercharged for what to register as.
