Cars and Coffee- Hunt Valley

What up Marauder Crew?! I am trying to set up a Baltimore area Cars and Coffee meet-up for car guys and gals. I have attended Annapolis and Great Falls, but would enjoy having something more local for us "Balmore" folks. The location I have in mind is:

Sundays, 8:00 am-12:00 pm
The Filling Station Coffee
13501 Falls Rd
Hunt Valley, MD

I'm not thinking there will be an "official" start date, but lets see how this develops.

There is already a meet at Maple Lawn (near Columbia). I guess it depends on where you live on whether its remote or not.

Hi,

We live in Perry Hall, too; Shawan & Falls is not far from us. See how many would be interested; we could do that location; as long as we're around for the weekend;)

Great. Hope to see you there! I'm going to plan on showing up next Sunday to see who comes out. I managed to post on a number of forums today, and there will likely be one or two coming out from each. If we can get 10 or so to show up, it would be a pretty good start. I look forward to meeting you guys.

Hi,

Our 'rauders won't be coming out Sunday morning if the stormin' is happening:( Just wanted to give you a heads up on that.......

Mine will be tucked away in the garage too. Most importantly, I hope everyone on the East Coast is prepared for the worst. Be safe and best of luck to everyone weathering the storm.

The following weekend is the Grand Prix, so we'll plan to have the first Filling Station Cars and Coffee on September 11th.

That's too bad. It will be every Sunday until the weather quits on us for Winter. The hope is that we gain a enough interest that there will be 15-20 folks meeting up every weekend. That way everyone knows where and when they can stop by to hang out with some fellow gearheads whenever they have the chance.

Hey, did you start the Cars & Coffee in Hunt Valley?--yesterday was kinda of crappy weather, too. Maybe one of these Sundays it will be nice and we can bring it outta da garage:D
 
Cars & Coffee is offically off the ground. The Filling Station on Falls Rd is now closed so we've moved to their other locaiton off of York Rd. I've been getting there around 8ish a.m. Here are directions:

Take 83 to Shawan Rd Exit
Shawan East to York Rd
York Rd North about 3 miles
Filling Station is on Left

Family obligations this Sunday the 2nd, and the 9th--too close to MV IX--gotta be gettin ready for THAT.

Still hope to make it one of these Sundays........

No Worries! Hope to meet you soon.

For anyone planning to stop in for Cars & Coffee tomorrow, just a heads up that York Rd is in pretty bad shape. I'd recommend taking the Belfast Rd Exit off of 83 (its 3 miles North of Shawan Rd). Take Belfast East and take a right on York Rd. Filling Station will be on the Right. Hope to see you tomorrow.

Not me this time--wonder who else has DTR in this area????

going to see if I can talk Fordfrk into heading to HV this Sunday. Right now supposed to be nice Sunday--we could bring both cars:)
 
not many DTRs. Surprising to see one the other day. I'm not going to be able to make it on Sunday. My friends lost their little girl last week (cancer) and we're going to head down to their place to give our support.

That is terribly sad. Sorry to hear. Our prayers go out to them.

I just now hung up with a friend who's mom passed away last night, so we, too will be attending funeral service Saturday, so we will probably have to skip this week. Will have to do things on Sunday now that we would have done Saturday.


You could not make the MV IX this time? We'll have to try to make one of the HV Sundays, just so we can meet:)

what up for this Sunday Nov 6th? We just might be able to wander up. Weather's lookin' good. But probably not until around 9:00 am

Sorry I've been MIA for a couple weeks. I've had a lot of work travel lately and have been catching up with my family on the weekends. Looks like tomorrow is going to be nice, but I think I'm going to take the opportunity to clay bar and wax the MM to get her ready for winter storage. If its nice the Sunday after Thanksgiving I might be game fo meeting up. Hope your Fall is going well.
