OK, I'm still in. They're calling for scattered showers but then again I drive in the rain and snow all year.:beer:

Ya know what, the last time somebody posted something about a weather forecast only three people showed up. So MY forecast says its gonna be 82 and sunny.

:D

Sorry to everyone that it took me 3 trys and a gallon of water to do a burnout. You guys should have seen the burnout the Crown Vic did! ;) Meeting all of you was great and I can't wait to come back. I'll bring my Marauder next time I promise! :D

Yes, it was a good time, thank you all for coming.

Special thanks to Mercman from Tipton Indiana and MM2004 from "Looseville" Kentucky for making the drive up I-65. Good to see members who are friends enough to spend the time and mileage to eat a cheeseburger at a chicken shack.

Not to name names, but one of our members actually got the local Fire Chief to chase him down the highway after a burnout. Needless to say, it was an awesome burnout, the Chief must love tire smoke. Must be one of those "I love the smell of BF Goodrich in the morning, it's the smell of victory" thingys, eh?

This event gave rise to the question "Do I have to pull over for a fire truck" and my answer was "no, just get out of his way". So...That he did, proving that a tricked out fire department Expedition cannot chase down a turbocharged Marauder, no matter how loud the siren.
 Here's to the next Chicken Run, keep 'em coming boys.

PS. Let's see each other again soon, in Seymour IN.?

PSPS: Never mess with a Board Administrator...

It was great to meet you all and I thought we had an excellent turnout. I did not realize you had been doing this for 4 years. I'll have to check with the wife to see if Seymour is a possibility but in any case I look forward to the next get together.

Thanks to everybody who showed up for an awesome meet. You guys all left before seeing one heck of a good burnout from a Crown Vic, and you missed seeing a Chevy Blazer lose a fight to a telephone pole.

Since Seymour is next month, who's up for a cold weather meet the first weekend in November before the snow starts to fall?

How dare you I didn't lose! haha I have a spare bumper at home anyway. I've said it before and I'll say it again... There is no "totaled" in my life and everything can be fixed.

I counted 14 Marauders, but then it was hard to tell when they move so fast.

I feel bad I couldn't stay for lunch and a few burnouts but **** happens. It was good to be there and see the awsome mods some people manage.

I'm looking forward to the next one. :beatnik:

What a great day. And a great turnout. And we had visitors from Florida,Indiana and Kentucky. Nice going you guys. All because of a car that no one knows about?

Nice job!

Welll mercman & MM2004 pulled a "Big Dog"?

Nice going guys.

I am busy moving and will even miss a car show 400 yards behind my "old" house in the park in Morrisville, Pa. on Labor day..Enjoy:)

Had fun

I am glad to have been to my first Chicken Run, everyone was great and the entertainment of everything from the, HIGH SPEED F.D. chase to Motorheads numerous attempts at a burn outs was a blast. (Sorry I missed his attempt at relocating a telephone pole). Next time out I will inform my Office of the impending vehicular destruction of rubber so the F.D. won't have to put themselves out doing our job. (Pun intended).

I would like to thank Mac for the privilege of piloting his K.B. land based rocketship and to Zack for helping solve my year long search for a squeak that has had me going crazy. It would figure that such a major annoyance would have a small and simple solution.

Mac and Zack thanks also for the heads up about the alignment shop, I will be hitting them up in a couple of weeks to get things corrected.

It was a fun time and if plans for another Chicken Run come about before the end of the year, I am in!

Well Mac, the look on your face after the small display of horsepower upon arrival, and me pointing and yelling "SLOW DOWN!" was priceless!

Driving KB #1 was an incredible ride, and thank you for forcing me to take the keys! :D

I made it home a few minutes ago without incident. LEO's everywhere, and skated past a few doing a little over 80. :burnout:

It was a good turn out at the chicken house, and was nice seeing new faces and their 15 cars that I counted.

Dan,

A BIG thank you for putting me up for those few days. Had a great time, and dinner was spectacular, to say the least. Give Cherie another hug for me and a big thanks as well.

Zack,

You're a MeatHead! :P

Best,

Mike.
