Hey man, I just went through this with my O2 Sensor crapping out, Bank 1 is the Passenger side.

Whatever side cylinder #1 is on. (this applies to any engine).

We did tack weld it back just like the OEM. I saw another MM that did not do that and it looked great still.

My muffler shop tacked on the U portion of the old style muffler clamp and attached to rubber hanger.

i got mine installed just a 1/2 inch out from stock were u can see the megs just a little bit looks great

some people get therse 1' out from stock
