4:10 gears in Marauder W/ tuning

4.10's work great, just a couple hundred RPM diff. on the highway. I have a predator in my 03 Mach, the same one that would be used for the Marauder. The shifts are great, and you can set the shift points. But, I am still in OD before 40 MPH. Any upgrade tunes can be done over the internet, but you have to buy the parts to do so, from Radio shack. You can data log your car with it, and you can adjust the timing yourself. If the standard tune doesn't advance it enough you can add or subtract as needed. I like it. I had an SCT on my 01 gt. I would say they are equal except for some things, like disabling your traction control, which can be done with the diablo. I give it a thumbs up. Bone stock I ran 14.01 with the programmer I ran 13.68. Don't know about you, but I'll take that all day long for just a tune mod.
 
First of all no one is intentionally flaming you, this club has done very extensive research on all the products offered here by all of the Vendors here, NO CHIP/TUNNER will give a 60 HP gain, last year PDQ which is a distributor of Diablo posted totally wrong RWHP # for there chips for the Marauder I contacted Diablo and PDQ never changed there numbers.

The Predator is a sharp looking tuner, I will grant you that I sell SCT I sold this tuning on blank Diablo chips for years prior to SCT establishing its business at the first of this year, I know every one at Diablo I like them and respect them, I am sold on SCT, its the consumer that must do his home work and make the decision as to what product you buy, if you would have done a search here you would have seen probably less than 1% of the members here have used the predator or other products.


Does this mean that these products are no good, absolutely not, it means the members here have gone with another company and I would say 98% of the members here are happy with that tunning, Diablo has a refund policy so try the predator and if you unhappy, ask for a refund there are SCT dealers all across the USA if you do not want to buy from any of the vendors here you can call SCT they will refer you to any one of thousands of there dealers.

You can also go to other car sites and do a search of Predator and see how those customers like or dislike the product, one site is the Mach 1 site, its ironic I got a call from a Mach 1 owner today that had tried the Predator.

At 65 MPH, stock gears (3:55) = 1950 RPM.
At 65 MPH, 4:10 gears = 2250 RPM.

Barely notice any difference on freeway.

Yeah man, but you ordered it 56 minutes after your initial post, and 8 minutes before the first reply......at 09:30 a.m. when most folks are on their way to work!

If you had actually waited, we would have hooked you up with the right advice.

Like others have said, please post your personal opinions on the product you are testing.

I could not be more satisfied with my Superchips product, and the well researched tuning parameters unique to the Marauder as well. :up:
