Nice looking unit, for sure, but I think it's the same capacity as the OEM piece and therein lies the problem.

It's not specifically listed, but the info says "direct replacement" for OEM unit, and just eyeballing it, looks about the same size.

It holds 30oz more than the trilogy/cobra unit, what ever its capacity is

I'm getting one, too. The extra coolant capacity has to be beneficial for heat exchange from the I/C system.

Yesterday my reservior from Tousley ford came, same part # Chris listed cant wait to mount this thing, one less mod left to do!

I put it on last year, along with a bigger H/E and a few other goodies.
I put the tank on just before SSHS11
Do you mind me asking what your IAT's are running? I've got something I'm looking at but not positve yet on a new HE with fans. It's gonna be that or maybe the Killer Chiller. Just buying time.

Did anybody get these installed yet and does anybody have any datalogs showing a decrease in IAT's, or at least a slower rise?
It's starting to warm up here and I'm trying to get my strategy together for the higher temps. Killer chiller isn't in the cards anytime soon, but this looks like it would help, but datalogs would be useful.

If you are thinking about using them as an intercooler reservoir, I would think twice. It's going to act like a huge heat sync being in the engine compartment, the fluid would spend more time in it than the small one and have more time to heat up. If you heat exchanger is the size of the radiator, then its a different story.
