Doom, may I introduce to you Mr. Fantastic

A guy in my accounting class has a brand new, triple black Camaro. We were sitting in class last night and got absolutely flooded from rain within minutes. His sunroof/moonroof was flipped open, lol. Too bad for a new Mustang owner, his windows were down about halfway . Neither one of those two R-tards would run out and close them, either. Water in the parking lot was up to my rims when class let out. My windows were cracked a half inch, but I have ventshades so all was good .

Gotta love the vent shades brutha!

TO quote the video in another thread about the new firebreather camaro, or whatever they call it

"It's not cool enough to no longer be a camaro" FTW :banana2:

After sitting in a new Camaro at the Boston Auto Show... that interior is AWFUL.

The front fascia is the same as Bumblebee from the second Transformers movie, the stacked foglights/vents, plus the front spoiler give that away.

Chevy will price it around GT500 prices, which are rediculously high. A used corvette is cheaper than a new SS Camaro, which has me thinking...

Since when is the Z28 a better package than the SS? silly Chevy cant even badge right...

I'm no Chevy expert, but I always viewed the 'SS' model as the baddest - top of the line performance Chevy, not the Z28....:dunno:

Doesn't seem to me that the SS version of any Chevy is all that exclusive. At car shows every Chevy I see is an SS. Seems to me if you want a rare Chevy get the 6-cylinder version.

Its till a chey, so i would get any package. lol

My brothers ex girlfriend had an all original number matching 67 baracuda with the sraight six in it... so valuable now.

Joe, its good to hear your not a Chevy expert! :P

So is this car still coming out???

Haven't heard anything else about it.

Yes according to Motor Trend it will be available by the end of this year. The only thing I can't understand is why so late being 2013 the Camaro gets shifted to a whole new smaller chassis shared with the Cadillac ATS so at best they get 2 years of this Z28. The new chassis will get a 5.3L D.I. V8..... still a pushrod motor. Way to go GM!... direct injection technology on pushrod motor.:lol::lol: No wonder they needed a bailout.

the car has horrible interior, an ok exterior but there is no doubt the LS (pushrod engine) is king. five years from now a regular middle class guy will spend whey less $ to make a very reliable LS platform faster than a MOD engine. we will have some good competition
