DTR Issues?

Really??? I'm surprised YOU don't have 2 of them then. :D

Besides, DTR is not just "red". FWIW, I'll still run you for titles:P, then you can tell everyone how your "fast" black MM got it's clock cleaned.

Check his title, he probably has a "Grand Marquis" in which case he would need to put up some cash aside the title. ;)

This ^^^^^^ is NOT correct information. After 8 years, we should know better.

Every 2004 MM is a 300A. There was only one job series in 2004 unlike the switch from 2003 300A to 2003 300B where the changes in features were made to remove the dash clock, change the fuel door release, swap out the full size spare, etc. The 300A vs. 300B distinction only makes sense when talking about the '03 MM.

It just so happens that the 2004 MM ended up with the same features as the 2003 300B model .... plus the beefed up transmission and the dual knock sensors.

Since DTRs were only available in 2004 .... they are all 300A. Check your window sticker.

I had to read that a few times to fully understand. So a 300b (03) is exactly the same as a 300A (04). There is no such thing as a 2004 300B because no changes were made during the model year.

Got it. Thank you for the lesion. I sit corrected.

After doing a bit of reading on the site I see alot of people making fun of the DTR Marauders....
It's like my mom explained about the little boy who pulled my pony tail in school...."he does it because he likes you!" (Sorry Paul, nothing to do with nausea):P

justbob...Silver IS the new & better black.

Life would be pretty boring if everyone had a black MM, which is why they made silver ones. After making just over 1300 of them, FMC stopped because they realized silver looked better than the black ones and didn't want to hurt all the black MM owner's feelings. Besides, EVERYONE knows that all black MM owners secretly wished they had bought a silver one!:P
So smart!
