Okay, it’s time for another cruise. Sunday 07/01/2007, this weekend.

The choices are;
Birch Bay,
North Cascade Highway,
Snohomish,
Leavenworth,
Deception Pass,
Roslyn.

If you have a better suggestion please mention it.

BruteForce is in for any place you have to drive to.

My dad just came up from California. He's not much of a car guy, but he would like to see some of the evergreen state. The Roslyn/Levenworth circuit sounds good to me. Name the time and location we're meeting and Ol' Flame is there. DTR won't be because she's in the shop. (finally getting the winter storm scuffage fixed)

Still thinkin Sunday? If so, I'll be able to make it. Maybe meet at XXX (even if before they open) or the junction of Hwy 18 and I-90 and take off from there?

Wish I could join you guys but no border crossings for me until I get my passport (would you believe a 20 week wait time).

FYI and interest, next weekend is the "Big M Mercury" meet in Richmond BC. I went a couple of years ago and some pretty nice cars on display. If you're interested let me knwo and I'll provide the location details.
Cheers

I can do that. Usual suspects want to meet up locally? Everett & Northgate?

How about the juntion of 18 & I90 at 9 AM

Works for me as well. Do you want to save a stop and just gather at Northgate to depart at 8am? Does anyone know of a place (Fast food or gas station) at the 18/I90 interchange we can meet at? Might want to PM some cell phone #'s if that will help the hook up! You know if we are there, a quick stop at Snoqualmie Falls (<5mi) might be worth it as well. Looks like this is coming together!!:)

Kind of a pain isn't it. Things used to be so easy. My first passport was obtained in Chicago (about 1978/9) for some company travel. The company HR guy took me down to the passport office, everyone knew him and we walked by all the lines to a closed window which they opened for us... it was kinda cool except for the glares we got from the folks in line. It would have probably really burned them to know I had my passport in the next couple days if I remember correctly. Ah those were the days....

I won't be able to do Richmond next wk-end but would like to do a Merc Meet up there sometime. Do they have any others during the year or just this one? I remember you've mentioned this before...

Dave and I will be meeting at Northgate at 7AM so we can get some breakfast before we start out. He did a lookup of the area around the junction of 18 & 90 and there doesn't appear to be anything as far as amenities there. If you don't post up here before 8 PM or so I will give you a call.

UPDATE: 7AM was too early so we are meeting at Northgate at 8 AM. Its BYOB (bring your own breakfast)
