I had a gorgeous blackened one, had to give it up so a fellow marauder could have it... Since I am far to lazy to install things. Would of ended up in the pile of parts I need to get to!

I have the engraved blackened plug. Now what is this about keeping it black? It seemed the rub off a little and would like a darker one if possible.

The blackening is basically a black oxide process. It is a very thin plating. It comes off fairly easy. It must be handled with care.

The next group of black will be clear powder coated over the black plating to protect it.
