You may think what you wish about the credibility of my information. That's the nature of a PUBLIC forum. I take no offense whatsoever to that notion. For example: there have been many threads with folks describing problems with their MM. I often post my experiences in attempt to help. Sometimes I'm right on target, sometimes I'm wrong. At least I OFFER SOMETHING CONTRUCTIVE.
In this context, post count is your credential. Well, let me lay a few credentials on ya. Bachelor of Science Liberal Arts, Masters Computer Information Technology, Certified Lifeguard, CDL class C driver's license, BICSI certified Cable installer, MECP certification, Certified Pool Operator, Certified Professional Picture Framer, Certified Teledyne Laars Gas boiler Technician, Iam sure there's a dozen more I'm forgetting. The point is (and I double dog dare ya to take this out of context) SOMEONE at SOMETIME thought my info was, in fact, not only credible, but certifiable!

Hey STOOPID, 1/4 mile isn't everything. You forget about carshows? Highway comfort? Safety? Family? Oh, no you're to freakin immature and selfish to think about anything but YOURSELF!!! Perhaps you should take a moment to understand that there are people and even more important MM owners who are interested in more than 1/4 mile. Most didn't buy the car for that reason at all.
I have not been played at all. I have given Dennis plenty of my money and have never been disappointed with the pordusts, work, or ongoing support. I have had the privilege of becoming friends with Dennis. I have had the privilege of working in his shop and hanging with his family. I have made the 4hr drive to his place to do work FOR HIM! I do this stuff for fun. He does it to feed his grandkids. I get it. You clearly don't.
My point regarding the 3 hrs @ $125 is to say that time he does not spend in his shop making his shop rate comes off his bottom line. This is a business principle and has nothing to do with friendship. So, you have now made it abundantly clear that you understand little to nothing about business.
Grass roots, young'un (yes, that's Southern) is an older term meaning without sponsorship. It is a state of mind. You'll never understand it. We are not in one another's employ. We are friends.
I went to Jacksonville to install Dennis's new radio. I did it for nothing. Dennis put me up in his home and fed me. It was a great excuse to hang out with some very cool people and have a good car time. If Dennis is guilty of anything, it's of becoming friends with his customers. He actually FEELS BAD for making 'too much'. But yet I still see him in his office struggling to pay the bills.
People are just that, people. Some will get along. Some won't. SOme will understand. Some won't. Clearly, you don't understand.
