Just another Marauder owner
Hi all

I am looking for a Marauder. The only ones in my area (San Francisco) are over 100k miles and they want 13k for them. Too much money for too little product in my eyes.

I found a 04 SB at a dealer in Tacoma, Titus-Will Ford. It has ~28k on it with a asking price if 17k. Was hoping someone could check it out for me. I have spoken with a salesman, Greg, and he is sending me some more pictures, but a real unbiased eye would be great.

I just don't want to fly up there and find out it is a pile. Carfax shows no accidents, he says it is gorgeous ... But he IS trying to sell a car.

I was looking at buying that one last week, i had a ton of pics. I ended up buying a different one in Ohio & I deleted all the pics. That thing is way clean!
I had them talked down to 16K out the door but that is as low as they would go. I was dealing with Rick Rooney. I bought a silver 03 300B with 36K miles for $13,500 otd from a dealer in Ohio, that is just as clean as that one. You can find a better deal, if you're patient.
 
How did you find the one in Ohio? 13.5 OTD from a dealer seems like a great price.

This one is a pile. Unless it came factory with red primered rear wheel wells and a SLUGGISH transmission. This does not take into count, the worn carpet on the drivers front. Trunk does not align properly. In addition, it has a bunch of wires hanging out and above the back seat ...

The larger wheels bother me, plus for the a tiny bit more ... less than a grand, I save 30K miles. These folks have been trying to sell for awhile and are pretty firm on the price. So assuming 14K for the car, plus tax and license ... I am at 15400.

Good luck on the car hunting! I definately recommend to get Roylpita to run the oasis and carfax for you before you purchase one you have your eye on. I was very fortunate on one I found on ebay. Did not get these reports before buying due to not knowing about this sight. I still got a gem of a car. Be patient and you will find what you want. Keep us posted!!!:beer:
