Fl. people need some travel advise.

Me and the wife are planning on a trip to miami in late july. Where are some good motels to stay at? And we are only staying two days so should we rent a car or just travel by taxi? I heard there are some bad parts of miami is this true? Any advise would be appreciated.
 
Depends. What is your goal while in Miami? There are several spots in Miami and each has a different need, so it really depends on what you'd like to accomplish while here. Let me know and I'll assist.
 
Well to be honest the only reason were going down there is to get a tattoo done at miami ink. According to mapquest it's only like 3.5 miles from the airport on Washington Ave. So something around that area.
 
That's over on South Beach. You should be able to walk and get around easily. Just take a cab to and from the airport. I'll look around over the weekend and let you know of a good hotel.

Any idea how much you're willing to spend for the hotel?

I can't help you getting around Miami, but I watch Miami Ink all the time. :up:

I'm not that guy, I've met him though. I live off of Philippe Parkway, about a mile or two from him. How about you?
 
Ah ha! Two Marauders within a couple of miles, what are the odds? :) I was going to stop and say hello when I saw the guy washing his car Sunday but I didn't have my car with me so I thought he might get a little freaked. We are located about 5 mins North of Tampa Rd. off East Lake, Ridgemoor area.
I took the Marauder down to the Burger King on 110th last Sat. nite, if you ever want to meet for the cruise down there let me know. About a month ago we had 4 of the guys from the group here together for it.

Okay,
It's getting to be time again! Let's do another meet. I want to see DJV5150's grill mod in person. There are a couple new members around, too. Maybe Hotrauder will drive over in the "Blingmobile" for everybody to feast their eyes on. Next Sunday is Mother's Day. Anybody up for tonight? I'll be checking back throughout the day. Hey jake you want to meet at howard park beach or at the burger king I dont know Im just giving ideas but howard park sounds good for us we are 99% sure we will go tonite where ever it is
