Flickering Battery Light

Flickering Battery Light on the dash board. New Motorcraft Alternator that is charging battery.

Cables checked. Flickering Battery Light before Alternator replaced.

Any ideas on what to check or replace?

ps I check-in every day via my phone.

have someone sit in the car with it running and wiggle the black plug on the alternator.... I've seen them go bad.

I bet your new alternator is bad.

Anytime a battery light came up on my dash it was always the alternator but i never recalled seeing it flash.

Check all the grounds, should be clean and tight. Check the resistance of the cables. These cables are getting old and are prone to corrosion internally.
