real oil pressure gauge
trans temp gauge.
Marauder fender badges.
-1 coil in front
rear size tires all around.
Black 300a good condition.
Texas legal tint.

A dealer actually purchased the vehicle from me for that price.

Just kidding, but honestly, you did R E A L good on your sale, congrats!

As far back as two years ago, I heard that CarMax wouldn't go near a Marauder, no buyer's shopping and no solid blue book 411 on the car due to 11,000 production numbers.

You must have walked in on a soft sales manager, or, one with a buyer in the wings on call.

I was told that if they could turn it around in a short time with a buyer on hold, "maybe", because nationwide resale values last January 1 of '06 on an '03 were 17-19K. I bought my #3 MM, an '03 in December of '05, for 17,500.

Ha-ha! The guy knew I was a police officer...but I didn't "persuade" him one bit. LOL

I hadn't even taken out my 2 front dash strobes or my rear red/blue mirror flasher yet. I didn't think I'd get that good a deal so I didn't bother removing all that stuff. I ended up grabbing a small toolkit out of my trunk and removing that stuff in their parking lot after the deal was done!

There are 7 Marauders total at all CarMax shops. Mine is the one at the North Houston location.
 
OK guys, what should I ask for my bone stock Blue 2003 MM? 27K miles, excellent condition, etc. I am currently asking $25K. Is that unrealistically high? I was considering selling it to a place like CarMax but I was hoping to capitalize on the rare color and I figure a dealer like CarMax won't know or care about the color..

High? I can't say. But 25K is all I'm asking for the Kenny Brown #1x Marauder, a 40K mile 300A with a lot of goodies you don't have, and a history behind the car. I've been selling for four months now, you may be waiting a while for a buyer. I know blue is rare, but it's only worth what someone will pay for it.

Blue is the rarest of all. Good luck with the sale.
