God's Head trunk emblem

[RINGSIDE]

2003 Marauder black has a God's Head emblem on the trunk from Car Motor Sports--too much chrome for my taste.
Any suggestion to black out part of it -- or replacement with something with less bling.

It's your call! Many of the members did not like the mercury waterfall, etc... you could just remove it?

spray with plasti-dip or niteshades... or rustoleum... krylon... a sharpie permanent marker

Perhaps someone else has had the same experience and has blacked out part or all of the emblem.
Pictures would be great.
Should have just removed the original when it was painted last year.
May still do that --but that means another trip to the body shop to fill and refinish ( and you know they will want to do the entire trunk lid)

Buy the Carmotorsports badge, paint the background what ever color you want then use automotive clearcoat over the entire badge.

First off I would paint/tint the tail lights just tape off the slits and use nightshades or take the tail lights out and drop them off at the body shop and you have them back by end of day.( if you have a back ride )

Then the emblem would stick out so bad.

Not the same badge as you, but the effect is the same. Plasti-dipped black with a layer of the Plasti-dip clear gloss over it as well.
