Little bit off topic, but my doctor prescribed a medicene for a problem that I, and millions of older men, either have or get (BPH, not ED), and he said that one side affect is that it tends to grow hair.

Damn, if he wasn't right! The hair growth is actually noticeable, not that that means anything at my age.

If I had known about this years ago, I might have taken the medicene sooner.

As for the medicene's primary goal, seems to be working.

Thanks everyone!

One word...

Viagra.

:D

Mike.
No need for the little blue pill here.

Man your old now, also don't they do that finger in the butt thing at the doctors when your 30:confused::D.
I think that's 50. lol

My youngest daughter turns 30 this Friday. (I hit 30 in 1973.)

Great age. Great decade.

My only suggestion, start saving for your retirement NOW.
I started dumping 10% into a 401k six years ago.

If you need tips for 30, you ain't gonna handle 60 well at all.
At that age I won't have any choice to not handle it. lol

Each year goes a little faster...
I hate when the old farts were right, Holy crap, am I an old fart?
Geez, I was just 30 too!
My grandmother was so right, I used to complain when I was a little kid about being bored and nothing to do. She would say "you can go read a book or go pick rocks and weeds out of the hill side garden". Best believe I was reading a lot of books! lol

I thought last year flew by, this year has gone even faster. :(

Chris doesn't have any hair on his head.
Well it really wasn't by choice, I can thanks genes for that. I do save more money on shampoo and haircuts now.

Just what I was thinkin'--actually years seem to go A LOT faster. Just try to enjoy each day

Glad you had a good b-day:)

I remember busting my dad's chops (RIP) when he used to listen to music from his younger days (same with his old movies).

His comment, wait till you get old.

He was right.

Now, I can't get enough of late 50's and 60s/70s music.

Funny about the different decades.

The stuff from the 50/60's brings back memories that seem more like I'm watching a movie.

The stuff from the 70's actually brings back day to day occurences that I can still remember clearly.

I've often wondered, imagine what it must have been like to live in the USA when WWII ended?

Just enjoy your life it doesn't matter how old or young you are. You will discover limits on some things. Pay attention to them.

So how did that decade go? :D

 probably no different than my past decade. Older, wiser, my heaith more broken by the year. BUT, still don't give a flyin fickled finger of fate either. The DTR sleeps more than my 17 year old cat, but can still run like a ***** gorilla when needed. But, needs now are faster, the more permanent,,,type. of mods... as the song implies, what a long and strange trip its truly been ....We still live in the Greatest County on Gods good green earth, just costs more than ever before,YEE HAW WHAT A RIDE IT BEEN......................................

I can't remember if I posted in this thread 10 years ago, but happy birthday and see you in 10 yrs for your 50th c
