Granatelli Coil on Plug Connector Kit Group Buy

What Do These Parts Do?
The Marauder engine is C O P driven, meaning "coil on plug", where each spark plug has it's own ignition coil. What connects the coil to the spark plug from the factory is a single coiled spring wire that looks like an oversized ball point pen spring, has about as much tension too.

The Granatelli replacement (what we're buying here) is braided steel line, boasting of "zero ohm resistance". I haven't tested this resistance, but I have installed the Granatelli connector on two Marauders, and solved a bunch of small ignition headaches, and I picked up some positive "seat-of-the-pants" performance. For the money involved, they do a great job.

No, this will work on stock engines.
IMHO, prolly show the best results on a bone stock engine, 'cause super/turbo charging, even NOS and custom tunes, tend to overwhelm spark efficiency and conceal shortcomings to some degree. If you are really "in tune" with your stock engine behavior, you will probably appreciate this mod more than others with engine mods.

One last question before I make a decision. I have the XCalibrator 2 Custom Tune which was tuned by Dennis Reinhart. Will this effect that tune?

No, it will not. An easy plug and play mod that does not require any tuning.

Mac,

Can the original wires be removed without any damage to them? Not that I would want to revert back to OEM, just wondering if they can be re-used once removed.

Wires are not changed out. Its the connectors that you're buying (connects wire to "coil on plug"). That said, many have reported that the OEM connector metal springs get stretched out when being removed. They are literally as flimsy as Bic pen springs.

Out of the 8 I was able to remove 3 without stretching them out of shape. Once you see the difference (see me previous post with pics) you'll wonder how they worked in the first place.

That was fast!

Thanks Guys.

I chose the wrong verbage. I meant connectors, and thanks again!
