Head lights

My headlights are coming on automatically when it rains, headlight switch was recently replaced with
an OEM unit, had this problem before the switch replacement, any ideas?

Did you know in some states its the law ? So Ford now programs your head lights to come on when the wipers are on.

So if you are driving through Maine or Ohio, for example, when weather conditions have you reaching for the windshield wiper controls, don’t forget to flip on those lights at the same time. Although most states don’t use this driving violation as a reason to pull you over, you could still face a traffic ticket and fines around $100.

The headlamps will also turn on when the windshield wipers are activated, after a 10-20 second delay

My 2006 Milan also does this. Not sure when Ford started to do this. It was apart of 2003 Autolamp.They are the same in today's cars.

When it rains, or when the wipers are turned on? They're supposed to come on when the wipers are on.

we did the updated LCM from ford with the recall and that feature no longer works, also, the blinker noise is 1/3 of the previous box.
