Idle problem

Why does my car idle when the car is in park and I turn on the ac and if I turn the steering wheel wile is on park it will idle also any answer ?

Your wondering why your car continues to idle in park with the A/C on:confused:
 
Lol what I think you are talking about is your car adjusting to one of those things kicking on and is normal.
 
We'll the rpm goes up as I turn the steering wheel I don't think that's normal. Also the ac makes my rpm go up

Thats very normal, and is how it is designed to work, otherwise your car would die due to the extra load placed on it by spinning the A/C.


And please dont text and drive, only takes a second to change someones life for the worse.
 
completely normal. Engine RPMS are increased to compensate for increased load, such as cranking the powersteering or turning on the AC compressor...

i concur

here's a good place for this.

last week i drove my kids 55 chevy truck to the shop. i realized if you want people to pay attention to the road, have them drive a 55 chevy truck :lol:
i could not imagine even flipping radio stations while driving that thing, and yes it even has radial tires
 
That's a scary post and yes I know it is wrong to txt I should know I had a woman that ran me over at 50 mph I was getting out my car I opened the back drives door to get some grocery bags next thing you know I blacked out.i got my consciousness back I though I was dreaming she had drag me underneath her SUV I don't know how I made it alive I thank god for that turns out she was texting wile driving 50 mph on a school speed Limit. But yes it is wrong to txt and drive

you almost get killed by someone texting and driving and you turn around and do it yourself :confused: :confused:

Am i the only person missing something here.....
