"In Memoriam....." forum

Added Stogie Bear to the list in Post #2. R.I.P. Richard. Really enjoyed meeting and talking to you at Carlisle, June 2014. Marauder on buddy !!!

Thank you all for remembering. A Marauder is ultimately just a car. However, Mercury marauder. Net is much more than just a car forum.

A quick review and I don't see this "forum" as yet--if I missed it posted somewhere --please inform---if not, then I ask what is the status --since it has been recognized as a "good " idea by so many.... Thanks once again--Tom

"In Memoriam....." forum

The 2nd Anniversary of Rex's / SC Cheesehead's passing a couple days ago got me thinking about the members here that we have lost over the years. May all our departed brothers rest in peace. You may be gone but are not forgotten by your friends here at the MM.Net. Miss you Rex, Paul, Alex, Richard, Peter, Freda, Jim, Paula, David, Skotty, Steve, Bill and all of our too soon departed.

Hear hear Charlie! Thanks for reminding us to remember those friends and club-mates (whom we would never, ever, ever would have met... except for our common love of Marauders) who have gone before...RIP to them all.

Charlie, My late wife Linda (Sidecar) made it to a few events at Barry`s and was at Woodward 2004.

Unfortunately a new member, Paris Loury, who many of us just met at Marauderville 14 (MV14) passed away last night from complications of a seizure. He has been added to the "In Memoriam" in post #2 of this thread.

Oh no! Cannot believe this. What a truly nice young man. We were so happy to meet him and his wife. He had just gotten his Marauder, a Silver Birch, and was SO happy to be at MV14 with all of us. RIP Paris. Eric and I will keep your wife and family in our prayers.

My family and I really appreciate all the heartfelt messages that have been posted.

My father really enjoyed the people on this site and I'll bet you he and Rex are probably having a beer and telling stories as we speak.

God Bless Everyone.

Oh Sh!+, that was him? read elsewhere that pfunk was his nickname. I had just received a friend request on .net from him.

Somehow this thread was overlooked all this time. I have added a new forum in The Lounge so this one won't keep getting lost anymore. Thanks to everyone who contributed.

Not sure how it got overlooked .... it has been here for almost 5 years !!!

Coming back from my trip to Arizona the other day I stopped at a Shoney's east of Knoxville. It is next to the gas station that Rita and I met up with Rex and Russ and their wives to convoy up to Louisville a few years back.
RIP Rex. I have nothing but fond memories of you!
