In Memoriam: Marauderboi

THE Big Ugly
It is with an extremely heavy heart I bring the news of Alex Vachon's passing. The Lord took him from us today (13Aug 2010) to serve in a greater capacity elsewhere. The family is in shock and disbelief as am I, but I thought I should pass this information on.

I would suspect it would be best to wait until arrangements are made for donations, flowers, etc. I will do the best I can to post any further information as quickly as it becomes available. There's not much we can say or do at the moment but pray for Dave, Abbey, Summer and the rest of Alex's extended family!

May God hold him and keep his memory eternal!

Jake

Oh man, Jake, this is sad news, and a real shock. Please keep us posted with any updates.

Friends and the family will be in our prayers.

He is a great kid, I was supposed to meet up with him and dad Dave next weeekend. God bless him and his family. Again awsome kid, full of life, and love for our cars. Whatever I say won't be enough.
Dave and family you are in my prayers.
Landy.

Very sad news indeed. :( I regret that I never met Alex in person; but have followed his posts here on the site for years it seems. Sincerest condolences to Dave and to his family and friends. Will keep them in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Alex was one of us. His passion for cars was immense. He joined us for many install parties with his Dad (DJV5150). My heart and prayers to his family.

I haven't been on in a few hours. MarauderTJA just called me and broke the news. I'm heartbroken and the tears are flowing. We met Alex at MV4 and again at the SSM picnic last year. As I just said to Tom, his age didn't matter. He loved the car and was more mature than some twice his age. May he rest in peace. His life was cut short much too soon. Much love to Dave and the family.

This was the kid that started out here when he was like 13? OMG...this is such a shock...he was a great asset to this community...My Condolences.

This news was terribly disturbing and very emotional to me and numerous other people who personally knew Alex. Such a great kid and truly one of us for years. May prayers and blessings go out to David and the family........................may Alex rest in peace.........

Gordon and I are very sad to hear of this news. We met Alex, Dave and the family at MV4. He was an awesome young man. Our thoughts and prayers to Dave and family. Rest in peace Alex.

I still can not get this into my head. Seriously? I remember hanging out with him and his Dad at MV4 now. Unreal.
