In search of my old car

I bought my first Marauder when I was 17, in the following years I made poor decisions in my life and totaled the car.

The car sold at Copart Thursday, July 9, 2020.

The VIN was 2MEHM75V13X632272.

Is there a way I could find the current owner by the vin? I've tried a basic google search and it only goes as far as the auction.
Has anyone here found an old car before? What was the process you took?

You'd need access to DMV records which isn't something you'll find on google. Carfax will get you as far as a town/state its registered to.
 
IIRC copart had a follow the vehicle feature so you could ask for parts. That was quite some time ago and even the sale date was a long time ago (2.5yrs) but try and find that. Don't even know if they are still doing that.
