Isn't about time for a meet?

This Just in... It's official:

TEAMROPES MM IS FASTER THAN MRSTEAMROPES MM by 2 tenths of a second. :P

We got 2 runs in before lunch and the rain. I didn't bring a funnel or a gas can to get the 3 galons of this crappy 92 octaine up to snuff, so I couldn't load Lidio's race tune. I added 8 gallons of 100, ran Lidio's street tune, and still ran a 14.325 with everything still in the car and 5/8ths tank of fuel! The conditions would have been perfect for a new personal best, but I'll know better the next time.

In the meantime, enjoy the pics, specially the Gun Metal Grey Marauder that poped into the XXX Rootbeer.... Thanks for joining us Terry! :)

First, save them on your hard drive in a folder you know how to find.

On the main menu bar at the top click on photos,

on the next page click on upload, and it will walk you threw it from there.

ive uploaded two photos to my members gallery taken at the drags.
a sucessfull meet if i say so myself. pacific raceways was a little too spendy and crowded for me but the tradeoff was a fantastic car show. XXX was icing on the cake. first time ive gotten an up close look at someone elses marauder. nice to meet everyone, too bad i had to head out so early. had to drive in the snow over snoqualamie. already looking forward to next meet.

Nice piocs, guys. I'll get mine up soon. It was nice meeting eveyone and looking foward to the next one.

SNNOT, is that your SHO? I've aften that about getting a '96-99 SHO as a second daily driver, but hearing about the CAM issues kind of made me worried. Have you had an problem with them? Are they welded?

I have welded my own cams not a problem. The rear cams are much harder to get done. You must remove the intake manifold which is about a 4 hour job off and back on. The welding takes a hour if you know what your doing. I found that the material weld very nice. We have had the car now for about 4 months and the family really loves it. You can pick them up pretty cheep $3,000 to $7,500 but try and find a low milage one there will not be as much were and tear on the inside..
