i hear ceramic coating is a hoex. not saying it it just what i hear.

I do coatings myself as a hobby and I have ceramic coated my showers, my Mustang and a friend's car and the hydrophobic quality alone sells me on it. It's a measurable amount of protection for the paint so I dont see much to argue with on a scientific front.

Now, some installers probably gouge a bit on price but its labor intensive to correct the paint, buff, polish, etc and then apply the coating. If I was doing it for pay I can tell you I'd charge a premium just because of the time involved.

What was the outcome on this? I'm batting around the idea of selling mine.
03, black, JUST rolled 50k miles, all stock except for a JLT CAI, second owner, scuff on passenger side of rear bumper where some ******* got me in the parking lot and drove off (may they rot in hell), but since paint isn't a deal for you I suppose that works (it'll buff anyways, it's not deep). Plus I'm right above you in OKC. Hit me up, lemme know if you're interested and what your price range is! I'd love for this to go to another enthusiast.
