KB Photos, NOT the install thread!

Zack

Turbo Marauder
Hey, thought I owed anyone in suspense these pics.
Ive been really busy with this, so Ill have to document what I did after Im done. As you can see, a Kenne Bell fits and the inlet on the passenger side will work just fine. Enjoy the pics.

I will be using the Reinhart Air/Air Air Box so the MAF wiring will stay put. The pipe will start at the upper radiator hose , follow the radiator and curve around to the inlet. I had to bend the A/C line to make room for the pipe between the passenger valve cover and the fuse box.

Your crossover tube is missing the fill plug.
You will NEVER get out all of the air in the engine without one...

It is on the bend near the passenger valve cover.

Not only does it have one, but I installed a flush Tee in the back on the cooling mod hose to fill/bleed the system back there as well.

Sweet! Looks good.

How many custom parts are there? Or are they part of the KB kit?

I havent made a custom part other than the crossover tube.
The crossover tube is not custom, just modified.
I have altered a few things, but everything I needed was supplied in the kit.

Look again. Plain as day right next to the passenger side valve cover/fuel rail.

Looks good Zack. By the time you get done there, it's gonna look like it came from the factory!

is this being installed on a stock engine? And how much was the kit?

Not a stock engine, all forged with cams.
I paid $4400 for the kit. Minus the heat exchanger stuff, BAP, Chip, MAF

Almost forgot to mention:
Jim Bell did not want to sell me this kit cause it was for an application they do not have experience with. I had to beg him to sell it to me.
Dont waste yours or their time calling for info.
I begged and ordered in the same phone call.

When are you taking it to be tuned?

The car will start tomorrow, then I upgrade to Twin GT pumps with 3/8 submersible fuel line in tank to replace the corrugated crap. Im also eliminating the check valve in there which is a huge restriction.(Just have to cycle the key twice to get the car to start properly when cold)

-8 bung welded to the hard line and 10ga. wire to the FPDM.

Then to the dyno Sunday.

So what prevents me from not telling him what the kit is for and using it however I want? Do they need a VIN to order the kit?!?

I imagined my call going like this:

Me: Gimme 1 of those and 1 of those and 1 of those.
Them: OK. What's the CC #
Me: Why here you go.
Them: Thanks.

What am I missing?

SWEET install! Twin Screw Marauder....Me Likes A LOT!
Zack, please take a few photos of your fuel pump mods.
I am very interested in your install, as I will be installing a single Ford GT pump.
I also want to minimize any restrictions in the fuel lines & fuel system.
It looks like you have custom fuel rails as well...(blue anodized!).
Are they custom?..... Mustang parts? ....PITA to mount on a Marauder???
Thanks, Joe
