My manners went to sleep for a bit.............

Big Thanks to those recruited by Chris & Gordon to help with the convoys--Freddie, Brian, Mark, and any others that may have taken spots in the middle and end. I was nerve-wracked to be leading the pack, embarrased about the U-turn on the very first event:o, but it all worked out, thanks to all of you who pitched in!!!

Special thanks to Mrs. Bluerauder for riding shotgun to Strasburg so Bluerauder could help out at the parking lot:)

Thanks to Voula, Paul, Chris, Gordon, Paula, Eric, Connie, Jack and all the other volunteers and supporters for all of their hard work in putting together a wonderful and most memorable MVIX!

Everything was "First Class" and the "icing on the cake" for us was meeting Steve and Carol Babcock, we could have listened to Steve's story's about the development of the Marauder for hours.

Thanks again everyone, you all did a SUPER job and we truly appreciate all of your efforts!

Warmest regards,
George and Paula

Can't Say Enough about Marauderville IX (MV9)

It's been 2 weeks since Marauderville IX (MV9) and I just haven't come down from the "high" of the events of 12-16 October. Some people save up for a European vacation or a trip to Hawaii or maybe even a Caribbean Cruise; but I wouldn't trade the Marauderville experience for any of that.

Not enough can be said of the attention to detail that the MV9 planners exercised in pulling off a well-coordinated and organized event from start to finish. A Tip of my Hat to Paul and Voula, Gordon and Chris, Jack and Connie, and Paula and Eric for all the hard work that made this "First Class" event a memorable experience not to be missed. I hope the Planning Team had as much fun and enjoyment out of this as my wife and I did.

It is kinda hard to describe the Marauder/Marauderville experience; but in 61 years, I have never .... ever run into a group of people that I would rather hang with and have fun with than the gang from MM.Net. Some have said that it is like "Family"; but IMHO, it is actually "better" than family.

Never in a million years would I have ever guessed that buying a car 8 years ago would lead to such a relationship with probably the BEST car club that ever was and maybe ever will be.

Thanks again MM.Net for making this experience possible and Thanks Again to the MV9 Planning Team for making the memory of a lifetime. :2thumbs:

Yes, we did enjoy doing this--it afforded us the opportunity to meet the attendees as they registered; we had a few get-away weekends during the planning and we got to see the area. Wouldn't trade this experience for anything!!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Charlie!:)

^^^ What the lady said! ^^^

I was a pleasure being a part of the planning and participation!

It's funny.... I was cleaning some paper work at home over the weekend and I can across all my "MV9 Notes". The napkin that I had written ideas on on the way home from Charlotte/MV8, print out of prelim places to visit, a prelim itinerary for Thursday, our hotel rating cards from our 1st scouting visit and a few other notes.

I too still haven't come off the high and I get excited when someone revives an MV9 thread :D. I'm still biting my nails waiting for Big Dogs video

Andywho, y'all are the best and I miss youz!!!!! :hug2:

Nice! Frame that sucker. I am STILL going thru goody bags, noticed a badass black mercurymarauder pen last night, SCORE.

:confused: What color goody bag? Must have been during the raffles.

I got 2 black bags and a DTR bag and an orange one that I brought because it has the Bears logo on it that also has stuff in it. I know there are some cool flashlights hidden in one of them.

This was an A-1, First Class, Top Shelf, Well coordinated and Planned car club event.
Our deepest gratitude to the planning and execution Team for their personal, behind-the-scenes, sacrifice of time, expense, and effort!!
Sincerely,
John & Marianne.

Plain and Simple you guys did GREAT! Had sooo much fun. Could give you all congrats all day long. I can't wait til Carlisle again with my dad!
