I'd be willing to host something at my house. I'm in Rosemount. Are you thinking burgers, brat's & beer or some kind of cruise or other event?

Just a thought. Hastings has a car show every other Saturday. Maybe we could hit that for an hour or so then back to my house for food? July 9th is the next date.

FYI. Car Craft is July 22nd - 24th.
 
OK, how about this. Meet at my house around 3-ish on Saturday July 9th. Pop the hoods and talk cars for a while then cruise to Hastings (about a 20 minute drive from Rosemount) around 4:30-ish.

The Hastings show is for cars 1976 and older, so I thought we could walk around and look at cars for an hour or so then head back to my house for burgers, brats & beverages. Maybe a little bean bag game or FrisBeer in the back yard. Significant others and kids welcome. We'll supply the burgers, brats & buns if you want to bring your favorite beverage and something to share? Chips or a salad or a desert?

Sounds like a great idea! I just put Trilogy 214 back together today (again) and with just a few miles, the nose assy is dry (finally!) Time to torture test it just to make sure. Ill keep checking for updates.

If the 9th doesn't work for everyone, another option is the Air Expo at Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie the following weekend.

They will have numerous vintage WWII air craft on display and flying, including a P51C Mustang and a B17 Flying Fortress.

The Air Expo runs from 9 am to 5 pm Saturday July 16th & Sunday July 17th. We could go either day, whatever works best for everyone. We could meet somewhere close to the airport around 9 am then drive in as a group? If you want, we could cruise back to my house in Rosemount for lunch.

Let me know what you think or if anyone has another idea, feel free to post up.
