Losing a Parent

A lot of you have gone though this, a lot have not..My mother passed away yesterday afternoon. It's been a long road for the last few years, watching her fade with nothing that I could do. She has been ready for it for a long time. She finally got to join Dad..now they are both peaceful and together.

So sorry to hear this...Mary and I have each lost both our parents. Honour them by trying to be even better to your own children than your parents were to you.
 
So sorry to hear this Mark , I fully understand it as I'm going thru it with my parents, Gods speed to you and your family, I'm happy your mom can be at peace and with your dad.

So sorry to hear,my condolences to you and your family.
I lost a brother to a bike accident 5 years ago.
 
I know how you feel. Watching my father, and then my mother slowly leave us is painful.
Friends and family get you through it. They can't make the pain go away, nothing can. All they can do is help you with the burden of sorrow. Rely on them and you too will see light at the end of this painful tunnel.
