have an OASIS ran, it will tell you exact date in june, (or another date) I think from my limited research, that 7/15 was the first day back from summer retooling, and the reason the coolant changed from that day, it was a Monday, 3rd monday in July. I read that St Thomas was down the first two weeks of July http://media.ford.com/newsroom/release_display.cfm?release=12389
so july 15 was the first day of production after the summer break. I may need to chew on that for a minute... is it good or bad?
I doubt it will hurt anything, its just no longer extended life. I wouldn't switch myself, in my store, the gold coolant sells for $3 less a gallon than the green, and you don't have to change it as often
a retired assembly worker told me that cars built on the first day back from break may have been sitting on the line for the two week down period. now I'm wondering where it may have been sitting.
