A rock - me - hard place
Hey guys, I scouted the Shields Pizza at Telegraph and Ten Mile and I'm worried that it just won't work for us. The lot is too small and my wife, who works in the area, says that it frequently packed.

So, instead, I found a place on 12 Mile Rd., west of Telegraph. It's a sports bar called Mr. Joes. The address is 26077 12 Mile. I've been there. They have decent food and it's the kind of place we can hang out.

So, if we go I've attached a map and here's the directions.

From the east: I696 to Northwestern Highway. Northwestern Highway west (or northwest actually) less than 2 miles to 12 Mile Rd. East on 12 Mile and Mr. Joes will on your right just past the first light.

From the west: I696 to Telegraph (US24) north. Telegraph less than a mile to 12 Mile Rd. west. 12 Mile Rd less than 2 miles and Mr Joes is on your left.

Is 4:00 good?

Sorry Dan, I can't make it. I will be in a bowling tournament that day at 6:00 at Cherryhill. I would love to check that place out at a later date.

Do you guys ever meet on Saturdays? Sundays at 4:00 will get me home pretty late. I would like to try and make it now and then.

Kirk, Saturdays are OK too. Make us an offer. Maybe sometime we can meet somewhere west of Detroit. Jackson maybe? Do you know of a good place? I think that most of us would welcome an excuse to take the cars on the road.

Sounds great! Both cars are still in bed but I'm starting to get the itch. Jackson or Ann Arbor would be great. I'll do a little checking and see if I can come up with a good spot. I'm also open to suggestions. Any body ever been to the Cascades in Jackson?

Mr Joes is a great spot! I used to work right around there. Unfortunately I cannot make it this weekend. The MM is still at Lidio's, and I'm on kiddie patrol to boot.

I'll catch you guys next time...have fun.
