For Sale Mercury Marauder trunk organizer

For sale is an OEM Mercury Marauder trunk organizer w/ 3 dividers and 2 carpeted covers.

The organizer is in overall good condition, but does have light staining on one carpeted cover. One of the handles will need to be repaired/epoxied back together.

$250 pick-up only in Chicago, IL near Midway airport.

I would hope some people are honest. I always tell sellers to clear my check, then ship or advise when to pick-up. My .02 cents worth.
 
No worries. My checks are as good as cash. I must be one of the rare trustworthy types.

Not trying to start a war :) I use cash a lot. I'm always buying and selling car parts, person to person it's tough to swipe a card on a CL deal

I've had folks that I do not know try and write a check for a 5,000.00 engine or a 25,000.00 car lol. I ask for bank wire or cash

Cash is pretty easy. I think I've got like 1400.00 in my pocket, just from this months parts off CL. Paid my house off in 18 payments just selling off some toys. Who doesn't love cash :)
 
SOB! One of these days I'll have one, and I'll bring cash! Actually, I had cash in hand for it.

No threat taken, I was just pointing out that one persons way of doing something is different then others. Seller was kind enough to take a check from a local member and gets flamed for it. I would prefer cash as well but there are many ways of exchanging currency and some of us (crazy or not) still go by trust occasionally. Heck, every time I pay someone up front long distance for a part I'm taking a chance.

Of course for larger ticket items you'd want a money order, bank wire or cash. I don't even trust cash any more and money orders are being faked now as well.
