MM2004 , you are the downside to this forum...

Why do we have to do what the complainers want?

I would "whine" that at you if I could figure out how to do it with those banana smileys. ;)

Fine, I will use this opportunity to complain that too many people are complaining and by complaining they always get their way and it is the catalyst for me posting here complaining about said complaining.

Let that bake your noodle for a while. :beatnik:

Seriously though, which is worse - the people who call out mods on the forum or the ones who run to mommy because they are "offended" about something? I'd say if you are looking to ID the childish behavior we should start with "no one likes a tattletale."

Once in a while everyone gets pissed about something, but if you see the same people being offended all the time I think the problem does not lie in the universe, but with the individual(s).

EDIT: Mike Mike Mike Mike

add 4. :)

Not that I really want to point this back to the original topic, but seriously folks we need to grow up. A thread gets closed so we are going to create a another thread to call a mod out?????

Politics is a touchy subject. For many of us regulars that discuss in those threads, we are civil, have good discussion, and yes we do sometimes change each other minds. But for every one person that can do that, another 3 will use attacks in their comments completely demeaning another point of view. Now while I subscribe to the "if you don't like it, don't participate" idea, and I think complaining to a mod about a political thread is stupid, that is a mods job. When someone complains, shut it down before it goes too far, or lock it before it gets to that point.

We don't need to restrict eveything on the site to strictly Marauder, but until we can prove that we can be adult in the political threads they will get locked or not exist at all. I won't call out particular members, cause that's not my style, I just don't take the bait and leave it be. But others can't resist and thats why they spiral out of control

Mike and all the Mods have done a great job, llok at the meets, the get togethers, the regional car clubs, the exchange of information, the joke threads, and all the funny stuff that Casey posts. It's family.

I don't agree with calling Mike out publicly, should of done a pm

"I'd classify MM.net as classy. There is a certain decorum that is followed by the site & it's members and I think that the mods have a HUGE part of that."
Papillion

Just got home from work. Read the pages and pages of points of view, enjoyed all the great pics! (It's always nice to see Doom's smile) And thanks for the Thor pic Doomie!!

In the end, my classy friend Voula summed up my take on things and I agree with her. There are plenty of other places to play rough. I appreciate this site and thank Mike and all the Mods for keeping things to a dull roar around here. It's a pretty thankless job at times but some-body's got to do it...

Thanks Guys and Miss Bunny

Add a senior citizen's forum, so all the crybabies have a place to complain. Hell, give them 15% off something just to make them happy.

What do I win? :banana2:

Cages are soooo boring! I've put more miles on my cycle this week than I have on the Marauder in the last 2 years.

Cages suck. Who wants a SB '04 MM? Will trade for ammo (22-250 or 45acp), or an autographed picture of Sarah Palin.

"Or you can sit on your ass, throw out hypotheticals with obviously no business leadership experience, and complain about tax cuts to the rich."

So, Fosters, was this your idea of a "free speech" response to my post questioning tax cuts and hiring which started a pi**ing contest between you and I? You call this being civil?

Unless maybe it was another Fosters?

You said I can "sit on my ass", which we all do, "throw out hypotheticals", which I did, assume that I had "no leadership experience" (I have decades of management/leadership experience including Staff sgt, USAR, 1962/68)", complain about tax cuts", which I didn't ( I simply noted my thoughts as to why tax cuts may not increase hiring in a "what if" scenario format).

You really should check your past comments before posting.

See who said you can't get around lock thread:)

Nice now let pick up where we left off before some gets in front of the computer with the bottle.
