MM2004 , you are the downside to this forum...

Well it was nice while it lasted:)

Was it one toke over the line? Guess it a matter of opinion?

We could have a poll on the subject.

That would be great!

But in reality between the vast majority needing to get passports and being quite a bit north of the MM sweet spot {so many members are in the carolina's-virginia area} i would think the numbers attending would be down.

Niagara falls on both sides of the border could be a possibility, i love that area. Toronto is a great destination as well.

Toronto/Niagra Falls is no further than we had to go to North Carolina or Indiana--somebody make a proposal for MV X--just plan for it before the snow flies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D

Unless somethings changed Niagara Falls USA is an armpit compared to the Canadian side.

I was trying to be nice and not say that. :o

Never been but would love to! And I have a passport.;)

As i said before i don't think the falls is a good destination for a MM event as it's quite a distance for most, kinda like florida would be a big haul for most. Keeping it more central would work better I think. Also there are not really a lot of car related things to do in the area, no wood brothers or speedways ect. Also anyone who has had a brush with the law wouldn't be able to cross the border.

Now Ms. D, as for a getaway with Mr. Man, this is a must visit. There are so many neat things to do in the honeymoon capital of the world. Peak season feels a bit like a tourist trap, sept., october it's paradise IMO. Off season hotel rates are downright cheap also. You would need a week to see\visit all the cool stuff! Off the top of my head...

Maid of the mist {awesome experience}, journey behind the falls {take an elevator down, tunnels to behind the falls, very cool}, whirlpool jetboat {havn't done that one yet}, white water walk {see the power of the river below the falls close-up} clifton hill {wax museum, guiness museum, lotsa wierd neat stuff all within a few blocks}, butterfly conservatory, bird kingdom {both very cool} marineland, whirlpool areo car {not me, i don't trust those cables!} casino's {yuk!} lots of vineyards with tours, old forts from the war of 1812 era and a 90 minute drive from lake erie to lake ontario along the river that is just spectacular. Wow, that's one heck of a sentence!

Give it a try sometime!
