My custom tune on the dyno

Since I formerly did time as a dyno tuner, it was only a matter of time before I took a swing at the Marauder. As you all know very well, the real motivation to tune these cars is to improve the trans scheduling and general driveability. As an added bonus, there are some ponies hiding waiting to be unlocked. In my case I gained 21hp and 10 or 11tq.
Stock number was 233whp/250tq, with my flash it checked in at 254hp/260tq. At about 5000 rpm the gains are closer to 25hp and 20tq. This car is completely stock with 212,000kms on it. (Cdn model). Its a fun car for sure now!
In the next week the rear cats are comin off.

That's great Chris, first the fresh paint now the added ponies, you definitely saved that one!

I have had two tunes for my Marauders. One was a tune purchased years ago from a past vendor in Florida. The other tune from a past vendor who was very familiar with our transmissions. To date none have been very impressive. If I had extra coin I would like to try both zack n moe's tune. Iam sure they would be very different. It is a wealth of knowledge building a custom tune for drivers needs n wants. Glad you can contribute.
