"The concrete work is done… the New England Dragway strip is concrete from the start line to the finish line !!! Underneath the yards and yards of tarps, the new concrete surface is curing for the winter. I made a quick trip over to the track today and caught a few minutes with Joe Lombardo, General/Track Manager and he told me that they are very pleased with the results. The flatness of the new surface exceeded the required specifications by a considerable amount. I guess all the fancy computer controlled, laser guided concrete spreading equipment worked pretty good !!"
That will be a nice treat to run on in the spring! :D
 
Yup! Making it up to NHRA snuff! Installing light poles to the end now, changing the end emergency trap to par, moving the scoreboards further from the track, new track retaining walls and hopefully something to replace the crappy concession stand.
 
They have to when moving from IHRA to NHRA. It's been a while in coming! :beer: So I'll make first page of the timeslips on a brandy new track! ;)
 
This is great! Am definitely going to make a couple passes with my mm. I am more excited to take the motorcycle down the track and see what that does!

I'll be sure and help put your tires on again! ;) Hey! I think I forgot to put your... Ohhhhh, ouch!!! Watch out for the wheels guys!!!! Damn! That one went faster than the car! Those wheels sure have some kinetic energy once they're going, huh? See that! I think that's a new record for a "just wheels" finish! Do you think they'll give him some sort of award? Nahhh... Maybe a tow? :D

Too bad my new project (BB stroker) won't be started until mid 2011 or I'd sell you mine cheap! :D
 
Looking for tailpipes

Been to the track to watch a few times but once I get some parts installed,may be ready for a run or two
